Heart Song and WOYWW

It's Wednesday and I am showing what is on my workspace and sharing it over at the Stamping Ground.

I have been working on a card for Less is More, where the challenge is to make a 1 layer card with a Music theme.  I concentrated so hard on trying the "kissing technique" to add musical notes to my heart stamp before I stamped it that I ended up stamping the sentiment upside down!  Here's my "do over" card for Less is More.  You can see the big mistake below.

I've been in Valentine mode for a while now, and just had a card class at my house this weekend, and the very top pieces are leftovers from that.

The egg tag is for Tag Tuesday.  We are working our way through the alphabet, and this week are we on the letter "F", and I am really behind, I hope I get caught up!
Do stop in to see the other creative workspaces over at Julia's Stamping Ground.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will leave a comment.  I will be sure to stop by your blog and say hi.

  3. Ah that's no mistake, you cut the heart out and use it on something else and cut the words out and put it on another card the right way up. All fixed. Love the colours you have used.

    Happy WOYWW

  10. I am drooling over the tag with the eggs...It is gorgeous!
The story of concentrating and then ending up stamping the sentiment upside down is just like I would do too...teehee
We are 2 of a kind...I can only concentrate on one thing at a time!
Thanks for the kind comments tonight. I will be posting the fussy cut card in the next couple of days. Just have to sit down and finish it off. I'm a bit pressed for time as we have a self catering suite that we rent to mature students who come in the the Vancouver area from all over the Province, to take a specialized commercial refrigeration course. They come for 6 to 8 weeks each year.

I have the suite almost cleaned from the last fellow but there are a few minor things to finish up...paint touch ups, a couple of walls to be washed in the bathroom...nothing too bad, but time consuming little jobs...My new guy arrives on Sunday so have to get cracking on those jobs.
We also have our appointment to do our taxes on Friday morning so have been busy collecting all the paperwork!

Soon as those are out of the way, I will finish the card and post it...I am thinking it will be on Sunday!

  14. Don't you HATE it when that happens? That's the only drawback of a one layer card - no cover up! LOL April #119
